Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Aralee's body is soft, as she has spent many years guarding a sacred monumental rock. She has used her body well for learning, listening to glimmers of knowledge, and keeping warm through two centuries of living alone.

Facial Features

Aralee has thick brows and soft cheeks, though she retains an elven sharpness to her chin. Her ears are pointed, and often flushed with the same pinkish hue that spreads across the rest of her face.

Apparel & Accessories

Aralee wears simple dresses, having had little opportunity to purchase finer clothing. Silver wires wrap around her braids to keep them in place, and they are decorated with odds and ends of beach treasures that Aralee found outside her home. Her braids are always a little less neat than they could be.

Personal history

In her girlhood, Aralee was delivered a vision that told her to guard a stone sacred to her family. Following the pull in her gut, she journeyed to the rock and lived in a seaside cove for 200 years to serve as its next protector. Her hopes were, in exchange, that she may receive tempering and strengthening of the storm magic with which she was born. Aralee has yet to know just how successful she was.
Slowly over the course of the last ten years, Aralee noticed a shift in her relationship with the relic. It was not that she received a vision or suggestion to leave her home in the cove. Rather, she slowly stopped feeling the pull to stay. It was a hard feeling to get used to, that she could leave whenever she wanted, and it was so hard that she did not fully acknowledge that the stone had stopped pulling her for at least three years. However, she has finally accepted that, to whatever end, her tenure is finished.

Gender Identity

Aralee has had little chance to think past what she knew of her gender as a child. Her ideas about the way she wishes to present to the world may change when she has had more chances to learn other options.

Sexuality

Aralee has had ample opportunity to consider what having a romantic partner would be like, with no opportunity to find out. Though she has not discarded the idea, she has a deep and intimate relationship with herself that she fears would intimidate any who dared to court her.

Education

Aralee's education has been a combination of structured opportunities for mentorship as a storm sorceress that were provided to her in her family, lessons she has sought, and many years of reading. In addition, she has also engaged in mental exercises provided to her by the rock she was guarding intended to strengthen her magic.

Employment

Her former boss was stone cold.

Intellectual Characteristics

Aralee is often lost in a thought in a thought, deeply contemplating anything that her brain can chew over. When she resurfaces, it can take a good bit of listening to try and follow the connections that she has made.

Morality & Philosophy

As Aralee has only had her gut to go on thus far, she continues to adopt a lifestyle similar to that of most Moon Elves - wandering wherever "feels" right. She enjoys the fineries that she was never allowed to have in solitude, and at times, those fine things direct exactly where her sense of "right" is...

Likes & Dislikes

Aralee's hobbies and interests have grown to accommodate her lifestyle in her years living on her own. She enjoys tending her garden, cooking, baking, and building a home. She has lazed about with books of all sorts to become accustomed to a few languages, in hopes that she could converse with more people in a life after solitude. Of course, this was also to find some new escapism after she read all that she knew was available to her in Elvish.

A storm sorceress who has recently ended her life of seclusion to seek the enlightenment that she could not find in solitude. Upbeat and bubbly with an edge born from years of living alone.
