Scene 1: Damn avarian fanatics!

The party follows a narrow trail, almost invisible to the untrained. The spire in the distance, however, can be seen from any angle and is hard to miss when your goal is clear.   It doesn't take long for the party to exit the few shrouds of trees a few miles from the spire, allowing them to admire the full beauty of the erected tower.   In Sighing Valley stands Feathergale Spire inhabited by what was called Feathergale Society, Waterdhavian aerial-mount enthusiasts who have pretensions of nobility. They call themselves Feathergale Knights.   As your approach, you see the spire rise from a pillar of rock high into the air, the tallest point for miles. Built from white limestone and embellished in marble, the spire resembles a gleaming sword that pierces the sky. The gatehouse faces the opposite cliff, its drawbridge the only apparent point of entry. Tall, wide windows encompass the bottom level of the tower, absent only upon the gatehouse side.   A circle of open stalls rings the tower's foundation where it meets the rock. Above each stall, the sculpture of a hippogriff in flight leaps from the tower's base.   Beneath Feathergale Spire to the east, a wide gusty canyon yawns through the hills.   The party crosses the drawbridge towards the main entrance, what felt like a wide and safe slab of wood suddenly feels thin and fragile, when knowing that the drawbridge lies 400ft from the floor of the canyon. Untroubled they venture on towards the main door, a tall, wide, and thick wooden door. With their friendly approach, they knock to see if anyone were willing to respond, and they responded with a small shutter in the door, asking for their purpose for visiting.   Not wanting to draw too much attention, they exclude the reason for visiting the area which was due to the Quest: The Shallow Graves , and simply explains their visit out of curiosity for discovering The Sumber Hills . In return, the big wooden doors open, with a friendly response asking them to enter.
The party approaches Feathergale Spire and encounters for the first time, people outside of Red Larch .   People calling themselves Feathergale Knights occupy the space, and they are welcomed in to visit the spire.
