Indrigill Sea

The Indrigill Sea, more commonly known as The Shining Sea, is the large body of water surrounding the island of Glentolus . Its name comes from the fact that the waters of this area reflect the starlight of the sky much more brightly than most bodies of moving water, causing it to appear to sparkle in the day and nighttime. The local name Indrigill comes from the original dwarven name Indrigilan, which roughly translates to "the shine of a well-polished gem," analogous to the Common name of The Shining Sea.
