08 - Moneybell
The fight continued around us. Ethel had to fall back to drink a potion, as Debeid fell back and shot at one of the Orcs.
Sahar and Peter both withdrew as well, being in rough shape as well. One of the Ogres lumbered forward before growling attempting to swing its greatclub, but fumbled and swung wild.
I did a controlled tumble off the top of the wall into the courtyard to join the fray after sinking another bolt into the Ogre, having seen how beat up the rest of the party was getting.
The fight continued to break out, spilling into the courtyard as I tried to move towards an obviously hurting Sahar. It quickly became a retreating action for most of the party, as they fell back to rely on ranged attacks.
One of the Ogre's moved up and caught me with it's greatclub, as the other threw my javelin back into Tivran.
Sahar limped up and shoved his quarterstaff into the Ogre in front of me, dropping it.
We finally managed to finish the encounter, and hey no one died.
After battle Sahar and I spoke with Hamun Kost, the necromancer who was watching to see about refilling his undead after the battle. He agreed to come back later.
I decided to climb to the belfry and examined the bell, discovering that below the copper paint of the bell it was solid gold. I decided to lower the bell to the ground after prying it loose with my crowbar.
After managing to get into the altar room in the temple we spotted the eye of Savras. Under the altar we found a strongbox with a belt, three vials of some red murky liquid, two cloaks, a longbow, a shortsword, a bowl, and a dog collar as well as a key.
We spent the night in the temple before heading back to the mine to get the Wererats to move out so the Miners could get their land back.
Then we headed back to Phandalin to get paid.
