09 - Lighthouse

Having returned to the town we all settled into our routines. I busied myself with getting the smith to start crafting two additional shortswords for me in my preferred style, and praying at my shrine before returning to the Inn to meet up with most everyone.   Surprisingly Peter and his family turned up. Sahar was kind of there, if buried in a cup. Sahar shared his vision with us while we sat in the tavern, seeing the white dragon in his fortress to the south in the mountains.   He also claimed to have seen a pillar of light to the west of Phandalin, along the cost. He claimed that he did not understand what he saw, but felt that we may find more clues there.   We decided we'd head that way to see what we could find, but that it was about time for us to get mounts before leaving. I managed to find a lovely dapple riding horse that I've named Moonbeam.   We traveled to the cliffs, which were racked by a storm. We discovered a narrow stairway leading down the cliffs.   The party talked to a crab, I didn't hear what about, and then we decided to go up to the lighthouse. Entering the lighthouse I went south and found a shrine to Talos, and exiting that room came face to face with several Harpies. I managed to hit the one by the door with two fast swings, before falling under the influence of one of their songs.
