With Debeid guiding us we made our way towards the foothills of the mountain some thirty miles away from Phandalin.
We stumbled across an Ogre frozen in ice with a sack on its back that Peter started thawing. The contents were oddly interesting.
We moved up the moment growing more exhausted with every step, encountering rubble on a thin mountain path before coming across a wooden door leading into the gate house. We met up with another group of adventurers in the gate house, where we spent three days resting and recovering from most of our exhaustion. As the Reavers left on the third day we decided to join them, figuring that more fighters would make our lives easier, at least hopefully.
Proceeding down the bridge we saw that the other adventurers were in an encounter with stirges. I found a hidden door leading to some crypts, and we returned to the top level to see if I could catch up with the others.
After climbing a set of stairs we encountered Cryovain, the dragon, battling the Reavers. We managed to defeat him, but a few of the Reavers fell in the process. The surviving leader of the band attempted to make off with Peter's sword, and not liking her attitude Tivran reclaimed it. I decided I wasn't a fan either so I took the scales she'd collected as proof off of her while she was distracted with Tivran.
