Mr. G was "hired under duress' by a scouting agency, then contracted out to DAPS. The Order of the Lycan, ashamed of his fall from grace, basically paid a recruiter for rehab, aka fighting stuff in dungeons instead of being a drunken disgrace, he either cleans up enough to survive, or dies, both options good.
