Red Wizards of Thay
The Red Wizards of Thay, under the direction of the the mysterious Valindra Shadowmantle, have been dispatched to Omu to locate the Tomb of the Nine Gods and put an end to the Death Curse. While their motives may seem altruistic, they are ultimately only concerned with maintaining their own power, viewing Acererak and his machinations as a threat to their leader, Szass Tam the Archlich.
