Born in the slums of Harforley, Edgeathor parents were killed by the local crime lord (Tarloss) for not being able to pay protection money on time for their son, who was the only Tiefling born in the city, his parents were beaten savagely, his father who tried to fight had his heart cut out and his horn removed as a trophy, his mother was wrapped in heavy chains and thrown into local lake where the crime lord made the boy watch, rather than leaving the boy to his fate in the slums, the crime lord took Edgeathor in as his ward, taught him the criminal ways of his business. Years past and when the boy came into his adolescence(18) his appearance started to take shape his horns grew, his skin began to change colour to a lightish blue, his eyes took a snow white appearance, looking into them was almost like looking into a chrome reflection and his tail became a long whip like appendage with a sharp point, Tarloss began to see the fear the boy could mass just by walking into a room, Tarloss trained the boy in close quarters combat, sleight of hand, the art of deception, intimidation and how to weed out the liars and traitors.   After 5 years of bone breaking training the boy became a formidable fighter and became a trusted member of Tarloss’s inner circle, he used the boy's appearance and skills to scare any and all who would try to oppose his criminal activities and anyone who tried to overthrow his rule in the criminal underbelly.   The boy proved his loyalty by taking on missions like collection for protection from the local vendors, silencing snitches who worked for the city guard, holding up wealthy carriages or if it needed to be done quick and quiet assassinations.   While on his way back to the hideout one day, the boy saw a magpie in a tree with three local men throwing stones at it’s nest, one landed a hit on the bird and the nest, as the bird fell the nest dropped out a few gold coins and other shiny objects, as the men circled the feathery thief to give it the final blow, Edgathor grabbed the hand of one of the men and pulled him by the scruff of his collar and without speaking a word stared into his eyes the man could only see his own terrified reflection in the snow white eyes, the boy pushed him hard into the other two men and they promptly ran away, the boy pick up the magpie and its objects it had stolen into his pouch, he nursed the bird back to health and let the bird go free, but for some strange reason whether it be the bird not forgetting the kindness of this strange being or maybe it felt some sort of life debt owed the bird kept coming back and with him he brought back jewellery, coins and other objects the bird found worthy of his master, with every returned journey the boy would give the bird a selection of treats, he become fond of sprouts and thus the boy named his newly acquired companion that rarely left his side.   The boy continued meeting with trainers in the organisation to tune in his current skill and to learn new ones this is when he met and befriended a local conwoman (Ventci) who taught him how to play various dice & card games and how to cheat at them of course, he also learned that brute force isn;t always the answer and the woman taught the boy to use his mind and natural born agility in situations that smarts and finesse would trump strength.   Over the next 5 years Ven and Edgeathor grew close and even shared a bed on most nights, they were for the most part in love, Tarloss did not object to this union as she put it “everybody needs a warm body in the bedroom every now and then lad” but one evening after a job Edgeathor came home to find Ven had disappeared, Tarloss informed him that ”Ven had been caught by the guards and was interrogated for information about the organisation as she was your squeeze, she must’ve been made out of dragon scales because she never gave us up, but sorry boy they took her head as a warning to us” distraught Edgeathor packed up and left the city that night with his magpie sprout and headed east, he heard tales of a Tiefling village somewhere out there from some of the more travelled members of the organisation. Edgeathor hopes to find some peace with his own kind.

What trader travels with no guards?
1st Chircheday/ 2nd Morndas of Duskfall

Entry 1: We headed back to Prester I needed a drink and to get out of my wet clothes as we came into the village we found Jay who wandered off sometime in the night before we left Mastincast, we was under arrest by a guard Urad Niz who said he was going to collect the bounty on his head (I don't think he knows those bounties are void at the moment) I tried to talk our way out of this but to no avail the letter with the proof was with Sprout but he was a reasonable man and decided we were telling the truth (which we were for once) he keeps us custody in the tavern instead with guards on watch. After talking with him we found out that his men was the men we met in Burgeville the ones looking for deserters (the one Tim killed) they were sent to retrieve the princess from Fabinton. Sprout returned in the morning and said he delivered the letter to a guard in Dunham. Urad still needed us to go to Dunham for him to inform the prince of the issues rescuing the princess. (a bit of a wasted journey for Sprout but hey he'll do anything for a sprout he was still unhappy though)   Entry 2: While on the road to Dunham we came across a rare sight a travelling merchant with no guards I mean how stupid do you need to be, while he was talking to Tim and Jay me, Brandon and Spillikin came up with a plan to rob this poor sap, before I jumped over to his carriage Spillikin touched the mans hand and turned him into a pile of dead flesh and bone before my eyes, Tim was not happy but he doesn't know how rare it is to find such an easy mark but had no objections to helping us take what we want from the cart, we took what we can and set the cart on fire and it exploded and a big black cloud covered the sky and the jewels we left came down from the sky on fire (one thing I've learned is never look back and the one thing every trader must learn is travel with guards)   Entry 3: We arrive at Dunham Tim and Jay head to the merchant district and Brandon and Krump go to the docks, wasting no time me and Spillikin go to see the prince. We get into the castle and the throne room we give him the letter from Urad, he looks disappointed and I asked if he received the letter from Lady Rin he did and said he was going to dispatch 80 men to a Mastincast as soon as he can, as we are about to leave he tells us that he might have a job for us people from Dunham have been going missing and a cave just North of here people have entered and not returned he asks for our help in return for a reward me and Spillikin accept and ask for the crown to pay for our equipment for the quest, we get a royal seal ledger to get our equipment and accept his quest. Before me and Spillikin head to meet the party we take go to the cities black market to see if we can get some "special" items (not much there) but Spillikin did sell a ring of water walking to a vendor who he tells it's the wedding ring of Whitemane a buy it off the vendor he sold it to and a bag of holding each, then we go to the crones store Spillikin get some poison and I get some sleep arrows and we leave to meet the party in the market. When we arrive Jay and Tim have already bought some equipment me and Spillikin decide not to tell the party about the ledger (no point wasting our coin) I managed to get the ring of water walking turned into a band with new metal and jewel added so Whitemane won't recognise it, and infused into my horn (can't lose it if its attached to me, and now I don't need to worry about drowning) we get some potions and I get a a magical shortsword and we make our leave for the inn the Drunken Lute. After a few drinks me, Tim, Spillikin and a drunk have a race for which I am the victor, after the race Jay explained to us that he was castrated and abused by his parents a half-elf bard took an intrest in us in Jay mostly because they are both from Aracadia, Eliza Nova was getting nothing from jay so I spoke up and she took a liking to me and offered a bed for me for the night for which I accepted as I was being lead up I saw Spilliken returning to the room of an unnamed Half Orc ( to each his own I guess), It's been a few weeks since I left home after Ven was killed but I know she would want me to move on.   Entry 4: Early morning making our way to the cave known as the Sanctum. Jay brought in his penguin Kevin and Krump followed alongside captain Brandon I left Sprout out side to watch the cart. As we entered the cave Jay was swallowed by a gelatinous cube enveloping him and Kevin who was dissolved while inside the beast. We make our way deeper through the remainder of the first floor of the dungeon. After we go down to the 2nd floor and carefully avoiding traps and overcoming some undead we entered into the ruins of the building on the 2nd floor, I sprung a trap dousing the party in webbing before a fireball was shot forward toward the party burning Krump to a charred crisp beyond saving (I was not at all sorry). We pressed on and encounter a marking on the ground which seemed to only allowed those of an evil nature to enter, we realise it reacts to blood of evil natured people. Jay bashed Tim across the head as he pushes him forward, entering the circle with Tim is good and is promptly shot from the circle into the nearby wall. Spilliken then takes the risk and upon the circle activating is teleported away. He finds he has not gone too far, we regrouping in a new room encounter a riddle on the wall, solving it Spilliken placed his blood on the wall and as the wall fades a replica of Spilliken appears and fights them. We kill him and obtain a scroll of raise dead. Heading back through the cave we get ambushed by a group of ghouls and ghasts who give us a beating, we were deep in the second level of the dungeon of the Sanctum, and I decided we needed to make a short rest before continuing on, heading back to the location we fought the phantom Spilliken I set up some traps and made as we rested we heard the sound of the circle being activated and screams from the dungeon of men and women. Coming out from the cave, we headed toward the circle teleport and stopped in one of the rooms on the way, an abandoned church in there we met Oliver an adventurer who had arrived a few weeks prior to rescue Olivia Vallista a nobleman's daughter. Bringing them with us to keep them safe we dove further down into the dungeon, Tim spearheaded the way and we arrived at an altar with an armoured construct and many undead guarding it. We overcame this encounter and took possession of the Orb of Lucavi (Chaos) and the research notes of the cultists as well as the hilt of a small blade adorned with religious symbols pertaining to the eight. Solving a puzzle door in the room we also obtained a selection of treasure including a scroll of divination and headband of intelligence. Wandering the dungeon for some time the party eventually made their way out and after a long day were finally free of the sanctum.

I hate the water
1st Thyrdas/1st Feortha of Duskall

Entry1: After we escaped that infernal cave on skull island we did manage to get a fair bit of coin and a magic scroll that can banish any creature to it's own plane of existence, Tim should be able to keep that safe. I can feel myself getting stronger as I become more attune with my bloodline, my spells seem to give me the power of frost we will see how much I can gain in the future. we set sail and no sign of Davey Jones thank the Gods but I wish we can stay on dry land from now on.   Entry 2: We arrive back in Mastincast docks and there is a big ship bigger than I've seen and coming off there is a massive Dragonborn and a Sea-elf they talked to the Lady Rin about what I do not know but he handed her massive gold bars (maybe she's not as lawful as we think). while coming off the boat I bumped into a creature I have not seen before a 2ft Rat with no front teeth looked harmless enough but just from the looks of him I know he is not on the side of the law, he said his name is Spillikin and he is here for the fishing competition (sounds like fun I said I would join him but i will not be going out on a boat again so we entered the beginners with the children on the docks, while Brandon, Jay and Tim headed out to sea with that hulking Dragonborn. I don't mind fishing managed to get a big crab and save Spillikin from getting squished by a massive fish he reeled in I did kill it though and I don't think he liked that but again I did save him, I did get a big reef shark too but as I pulled it in the thing just burst in half?? but I think the crab I pulled in was a baby because not long after huge Crabs came from the water I managed to freeze them in place with my magic and me and Spillikin killed them rather quickly, I could see in the distance that my friends were being attacked by whales but that Dragonborn having some powerful magic of his own saw them off. They cam back ashore and introduced us the Whitemane a pirate known far and wide even I have heard stories of this guy he is a treasure hunter pirate he doesn't really go for the whole rape and pillage thing it was an honour to meet him. We asked him to help us protecting the city from Xorm who will be coming back in 7 days while we head to Dunham to get more men, of course he agrees (for reasons unknown to me we owed him nothing just a nice guy I guess). We made our way to Dunham and on the road we encountered some Gnolls and Allosaurus we managed to take them down and made camp.   Entry 3: In the morning we made our way for Dunham, stopping off at the village of Prester as we arrived Tim seduces the guard in the watch tower and rejected his sexual advances. Spillikin checked out the quest board outside while we had a drink in the inn with big tits Betty, he came back and told us of a monster of Prester lake that has been maliciously stirring up the water, sending floods down river destroying crops and endangering the lives of the villagers,we spoke with the Betty about events and learn of the civil war taking place in Verun between Prince Sweyn, Aldus and Guswald. We set out to the lake after I told Sprout to head to Dunham with the letters attached to provide to Prince Sweyn Leopold. As we arrive at the site of the lake we saw a guy mourning at a site of a grave, we asked him about the monster he knew fuck all so we left him to it, he did say the grave is that of Dede the master of War, he was slain by a witch who supposedly lives in a mansion near this lake. After finding some canoes I was not willing to go onto that deep fucking lake but was forced by Krump under the command of Brandon that cock sucker! We set out into the lake and slayed the monster (Alanc) not before that fucking moron Krump sunk the boat I was on, I almost fucking drowned if it wasn't for Spillikin who had a ring of water walking and saved my skin from the deep abyss (starting to like the Rat more and Brandon less).

Masincast and more pirates
1st Twegendas/ 1st Wedlas of Duskfall

Entry 1: we awoke from the cave we spent the night in and made our way South to Masincast as we were about to set off Poto's brother Chimwala found us and told us bounties were being sent out for our arrest (great!). We can see the entrance of Masincast and the guards doing checks I advise we should blend into the crowd and walk in like we belong as we got to the guard the pompous pirate decided to give the guard his true name and said he was here for his ship somehow we were not put in irons on sight maybe the bounties haven't reached Masincast yet we got lucky. As we got into the city we saw a flyer for upcoming execution of Brandon Stephens crewmates; Gwyneth Jones, Patrick Barkley, and Krump (thought he would have a much larger crew to be honest) we split up here with Brandon and Poto going to the docks to find out more info about his ship and crew were as me, Jay and Tim went to the market district to see if we could find a buyer for the gems we found at the bandit camp (the other 2 don't need to know about this splitting something 3 ways is better than 5). We found a jeweller and before I could convince him on giving us a better price Jay tried to scare the poor man with some sort of shriek?? only managed to get a little coin I spent on some healing potions and Tim got a longsword and headed off to the broken wheel inn, as I walked out the the potion shop I saw our wanted posters I saw my face on a wanted poster and some of my party members I quickly gathered these up and made my way to the inn. As we entered this less than respectable inn full of fucking pirates one of these cunts see Brandon and seems to know him, Edward “The Drought'' England said some less than respectful thing about Brandon and I guess it struck a nerve because Brandon tried to hit with a glass but he swiftly caught his hand and knocked him back (guess Brandon is more of a laughing stock than I thought) before a brawl took place to pirates asked us to come with them, they lead the way us out of the inn and to a large storage room. In the rafters there was a non human called Xorm who told us how he led the crew to Gula where they ransacked a village and temple there and stole an artefact of the Lucavi. He took the piss out of Brandon who fled in fear of Davy Jones but with the power of Adrammelech the Wroth, his fury and power will allow him to rule the waves as Lord of the Storm. He instructed Yuan a Tiefling to deal with us leaving her and 6 other pirates, after defeating her crew I gave her a chance to surrender but sadly she declined and we had no choice to strike her down once she was beaten we learned from her that Xorm is operating out of an island to the south that was a refuge to the Tieflings, he banished them all back to the mainland instead of killing them as a favour to Yuan, the island can only be accessed if they have a coin with the strange symbol which I had and she had another one on her person which Brandon took with out knowing its meaning.   Entry 2: as we woke in the inn I decided to disguise myself as Yuan with my magic to see what Xorm was up too, I gave Brandon my ring so he could gain access to the criminal world of the city (as far East as I am The Sirens still hold alot of respect) Xorm believed me to be Yuan but was not happy as I did not bring him Brandon's head I asked to stay behind to hunt down the remaining members of Brandon's crew he allowed this and said he would be returning in 1 week and meet the rest the party out side the manor and they tell me that the Lady Rin Orbcleaver wants us to go to Dunham and request from prince Sweyn Leopold to deal with Xorm and she will postpone our bounties, if we complete the task she will wipe them out, she gave us a note with her mark on it as proof I told the party Xorm will be back in 1 week.   Entry 3:We returned to the broken wheel to plan our next move. we can't leave until the next day while the paperwork is sorted for their bounties, the release of one of Brandon's crew members Krump and a procurement of a carriage. We checked the board looking to kill time and get some coin but a Captain Gorth, asked for our aid for an adventure to Dead Skull Island which he said has an artefact relating to the Lucavi. We agree and set out (I fucking hate the sea even with the singing of songs I was sick most of the journey. The weather took a turn for the worst it was fucking Davy Jones himself why the fuck was he attack this piece of shit of a boat in the middle of fuck knows sea? with a fuck load of luck we manage to pull away from that monster of a pirate finally land was in view and Captain Gorth in a panic runs the ship into the beach. We explore the island with Kevin being greased up and slid into the cave by Tim, the penguin does live but after sliding into a pool is deeply distraught and flees onto the ship. I take the lead and triggered a pressure stone being stabbed by a poisoned sticks or something from the cave wall, Tim managed to take the poison from my body with his magic, Poto took point and gets us through the cavern, Tim senses evil emanating from within and they hearing scuttling around in the darkness, we let the pirates with us to head in first, once they enter the central platform, the door slammed shut and we heard screams, then silence. The door reopens with no signs of the previous occupants. We go in and the door once more closes in as we enter the middle of the sanctum, crawling hands begin to drop from the ceiling and surrounded us. Brandon cast a spell and pretty much cleared them out. We made our way around the final bend a break in the wall shows a man made staircase, atop it a column, with stone hands holding a scroll the pillar is bathed inlight shining in from the ceiling illuminating the inner circle of this new room. Undead shuffle around the cavern and as we entered enter a ghostly apparition (Allip) forms before the pillar. After a close battle we came out victorious, the pillar is adorned with religious symbols found in locations both in the monastery at Gula as well as within certains scriptures from the church of the Eight. We get out sail back to Masincast and get our share of loot before going back to the inn.

Out of Oakwarley
4th Feortha/4th Chicheday/1st Morndas of Autumnal

Entry 1 : Finally heading East, I've lost track of the days as most nights I spend in inns I drink to much, I do remember a Tiefling women who payed for my drinks and gave me this coin with a strange symbol said it would help me find what I was looking for. Managed to book passage on a carriage heading to Burgeville?? probably some piss poor farming village looks like I wont be alone saw 2 humans, a halfling and a rough looking elf booking passage as well.   Entry 2: Our transport was halted by some local bandits with some help from the other passengers we were able to kill most of them 1 however did get away, the driver lost his life due to an arrow to the chest. The halfling looks to posses some magic but seems to be be quite inaccurate with it as he burned the carriage, the 2 humans seem to be men of great strength though simple minds they did kill alot of the bandits but the quite one killed our horse for no reason or maybe he did and it is lost on me and the elf seems to posses magic also the range of his power is still unknown. But for now looks like we are walking to Burgeville I hope they have decent ales.   Entry 3: Made it to the village which indeed had an inn and not so bad ale got to know my traveling companions a little better , the elf is know as Brandon Stevens a magically gifted pirate or treasure hunter, seems to have miss placed his ship though (not much of a pirate if you ask me) seems to be obsessed with a legend of a jewel called the " Gem of Oakwarley" by the sounds of it name he won't find it in this piss poor town, then there is the human known as Tim, he doesn't speak so information on him is limited noticing some religious symbols he carries must be a paladin, the other human Jay seems to be a simpleton just keeps asking about pocket watches but for his young age he's a tower of a man and then there is Poto he lives in this village and seems to have power he is yet to understand. The paladin killed a Lizardfolk in the inn for some words exchanged to Brandon didn't quite hear but to calm the situation I managed to convince the people in inn that he was a child fondler not for the benefit of saving the paladin from a rope but somehow a Tiefling always get blamed helping the paladin was just a bonus, Going to bed in another drunken haze.   Entry 4: me and my new party found some work on a quest board earning a little coin by doing some odd jobs clearing rats, delivering a message and finding a cat, the mayor gave us a task of "dispatching" a bandit camp north coin offer is weak but if we bring back the hostages maybe I can get more. We met some army from Dunham on the road north looking for deserters they did offer some coin for our aid but one job at a time. the bandit camp wasn't an easy win the stupid pirate knocked me out but the paladin managed to get me on my feet, we found some gems coin and the hostages one of which had an arrow in the leg again the stupid pirate missed his mark with his crossbow. We managed to "negotiate" a better price for the task Tim through his pet penguin at a wall the poor creature exploded in a shower of blood as it hit a wall (did manage to get a good spin on it though) needless to say the mayor gave up more coin.   Entry 5: After celebrating our victory at the inn I found a Tiefling Ermawhisper who told me that Brandons ship was docked in Mastencast and a Tiefling there should know about the coin, the captain we saw on the road burst in looking pretty wounded poor bastard look to be on his final breath, without hesitation, thought or sound Tim impaled the wounded man with a lance releasing him from his mortal coil again I tried to talk my way out of it but me, Tim and Jay were chucked in the cells thanks to the corrupt captain of the guard "Richard "Dick" Shields" he was helping the bandits we dealt with and found the evidence in the camp, good news is I managed to get him locked up with us. Tim and Jay poorly attempted a break out for which I was not interested in they killed a few guards but I was not interested in dying in a nowhere village so when they gave the sword they got I threw it on the ground and surrendered (not every situation can be dealt with brute force as Ven used to say sometimes you need to way out the options before you act). The guards separated us but as they did I managed to to swipe a key for a cell, as we tried it on mine and Jay's celldoor, it seemed to be the one for Tim as we got out Poto and Bradon came in to assist us with a breakout we managed to run South-East out of Burgeville and find a cave to rest for the night it seems my new "friends" are getting me into more trouble than I'd like.
