Rotbrek did not consider himself worthy of this weapon for a long time. He refused it for much of his tenure. It was only after stopping an attempted assassination by Elves on the King, and thwarting their plan to destroy Ironforge itself, that he considered it. After losing many of his soldiers, he decided he would carry it for them. He views the weapon as a way to atone for his past, and to devote himself entirely to his faith and to his work.
Manpower
The Silver Angels are one of the largest Squads, with around three thousand soldiers. They took a major hit during the Chief Crisis, as it is said that the Elf named Hadon attacked them and took out about a hundred of their best men. Yet Rotbrek survived to tell the tale, and has gained a hatred for Hadon alongside those affiliated with him: Shatt Gunn, Imvis, Ha Kyung, and
Ogonn Ha.

Weaponry
The Silver Angels have weapons made by the
Golden Automatons, a fellow Squad in Ironforge. However, their weapons are often of a lesser quality. This is due to a rivalry between the two Squads, often seen as petty. The Golden Automatons know the Silver Angels will beat them in combat exercises, so they try to handicap them in any way they can.
Upkeep
The Silver Angels have an ungodly budget, having more money pumped into their Squad than any other government branch. The funding of every other Dwarven Squad combined does not equate to the amount of money spent on the Silver Angels. They may not have the greatest of weapons all the time, but they have some of the latest models of weapons, and even some of the most advanced armor types in the world, made for deflecting attacks of all kinds. Their Headquarters is also incredibly advanced, not to mention metal carriages made by the Golden Automatons to transport large groups of them without worrying about
Fire Mages.
Recruitment
The Silver Angels take part in the ceremony, where all Generals are present to see new recruits. These hopeful recruits show their skills off in hope of joining one of the Squads and helping protect their homeland.
What the Silver Angels look for here in recruitment is knowledge of the laws and a commitment to enforcing them. They quiz recruits on laws, choosing a new portion of the Dwarven Constitution every year so that they can keep people on their toes. Anyone who can get enough questions right, or at least has the spirit, is recruited into the Silver Angels.
Duty
The Silver Angels enforce the laws of Dwarven Territory. They are the police force of Ironforge specifically, though some are sent out to help in other cities or villages.
They keep the streets clean, though some will say that there are many who are corrupt. They abuse the power they have over citizens, exploiting them for money or just simply a quick power trip. After all, even the slightest taste of power can make someone believe themselves high above everyone else. This is no different for the Silver Angels, as a matter of fact that almost comes with the title, as they are Angels and technically above the law.
The True Dwarven Kingdom
The Silver Angels were part of the group that were not in Ironforge for the
Grand Crowning. Still, they split off from the other Generals at the start of the Dwarven Civil War, and due to this, they founded their own nation, which controls a sizeable chunk of Dwarven Territory around Ironforge. This is a new Kingdom, as they claim. They seceeded from the Dwarven Kingdom of former Prime Minister Krankyl.
Instead, Rotbrek founded something known as the True Dwarven Kingdom. He sees himself as the only one who can lead, because he has experienced what it means and is willing to carry that burden. He sees Krankyl as a naive, inexperienced politician who does not know the struggles of the working class man or the soldier. Rotbrek, on the other hand, is a true Dwarf. That is why his Kingdom is the True Dwarven Kingdom.
