Chance Encounter in the Woods

On a peaceful and sunny day in the early summer, sometimes around the Wonnemond, even the deep and wild forests of the Chaukenlande show only their most serene side. The leaves are silently whispering in the soft breeze, the sweet sounds of birds are weaving through the air and occasionally a rustle in the thicket hints towards a small forest creature searching for food. The warm sun occasionally breaks through the thick canopy of leaves, occasionally illuminating the lazily drifting pollen in the air before they drift back into the embracing shadows of the pleasantly cool forest.   Following the sweet scent of freshly blooming Owl's Tail, a large deer is slowly making its way towards the tasty snack, occassionally stopping its way along the edge of a clearing, to lean down and graze.   Whenever a scene is this peaceful, the slightest noise can easily break the spell. What made this deer perk up, however, was far from a slight noise.   "You know, Soren, I really hope we can return to that village sooner rather than later!" a voice echoed through the forest. Someone was loudly tearing their way through the thicket. The deer nervously made a few steps, unsure if it should leave the   "And you getting very friendly with the chieftain's daughter has nothing to do with that, I bet." the other voice was quieter but still felt out of place. The deer took a few steps back below the ridge, ears perked up and listening closely.   "Yes, maybe.", the first voice replied with more of a mumble, "Sanne is just amazing - that girl has fins, you know?"   "Yes, Konne, I did notice the large and colorful fins on Sanne and the other women of the clan." The sound of steps carelessly breaking through the brushes stopped. "But we can only return to the village once we found them their deer. Now will you please be quiet, before you chase every every animal in the larger area?"
