Ferannja
Calm. That is the only element you really need for a succesfull hunt. Calm your breathing, calm your hands and calm yourself. Even the wildest wolf can calm themselves - only to strike with greatest ferocity at the right moment.Ferannja, adoptive daughter of Wotan, is the deity of the hunt and the winter's ice. Despite the winter being less harsh in the Chaukenlande as in some other areas further up north, they appreciate both the calm it brings as well as the deadly nature it can have to the careless wanderer. These traits are associated intimately with the goddes, who is often seen with the face of a wolf herself. The Wuelfe - at least those that do not completely give into their wild nature - see her as their patreon. Standing against the wild and destructive nature of what Fenrir the supposed creator of the Wuelfe represents, following the example of Ferannja gives the Wuelfe hope to not be completely consumed by their ferocity one day.
Associated Powers
Midsummer's Snow
Ferannja is highly adept to create snow and ice anywhere, ignoring the temperature and aridity of the area. These enables her to more easily influnce the elements or even conjure snow and water into being with less effort and influence as other gods.Deep Breath
The calm before the storm - few other gods embody this idea more than Ferennja. She is able to grant anyone believing in her the mental power to calm themselves down at will. WHile other gods would need to spend effort on this influence of a mind, the believing in Ferennja to grant you calm will open their mind to this almost positive help by the goddes.Divine Symbols & Sigils
If you ever see a wolf print on top of a frozen surface or somehow printed into solid stone, then you have stumbled on a certain sign left by Ferannja. This is especially true, if the surface of snow or ice it is printed on is found in a shadow below a tree in an otherwise warm and snowless day.
Any discovered Imprinted Stones are usually put into the center of a shrine dedicated to Ferannja.
