Trapping Initiative Act, 1865
A Legislative document detailing the establishment of a new military branch under the US government to serve to protect its citizens against monstrous encounters.
History
The westward expansion of the country has taken a mighty toll on the US economy and the spirit of the free man. After the US Civil War concluded, the government's focus returned to the idealization of 'Manifest Destiny' and to help its citizens achieve settlements across the free land. Until realizing the impact the neglected leadership during the war has incurred. The unlawful, ungoverned mid-west has been a tough beast to tame. Ravaging monsters, unknown diseases, cursed lands, and savagery of man in every crevice around. That excitement and destined mindset for most citizens settling down west has been well and truly severed. Fathers would not risk their families to be butchered and eaten by the threat of demonic monsters lingering in the great plains. Like leading sheep to the slaughter. The only true madmen to face the stigmatized West with ready arms were Trappers and their families. These hunters knew how to deal with the monstrous threats waiting for them, giving them a fighting chance in settling down in their own claimed property. The Trapping Initiative Act of 1865 was proposed to Congress on September 3rd 1864 and later enacted on January 2nd 1865. Those who fall under the act will be instructed under government officials from the US Department of Supernatural Affairs.Contents
The Legislation entails the following:- The US Government will govern any volunteering or enlisted Trappers under a newly formed military branch, the US Trappers Corps.
- A Trapping Base established in all States.
- Matters involving any supernatural threats are decided by the appointed Hunt Wardenof the area.
- Evolves the profession of trapping into an enlisted career. They can still freely hunt and earn a living but are called upon by state or union action to help defend the country from any anomalous threat.
- Trappers are placed into an official registry to log and record any approved transactions at vendors. Validating their identity using a one-of-a-kind insignia.
