The Mother Sea

The Mother Sea is a large body of fresh water on the edge of the Scree. It is called the Mother Sea because it sustains the life of those who find themselves in Detritus. It has plentiful and varied fish and nourishing water. A religion has grown up around the Mother Sea that seems to be a half-forgotten version of the worship of the sea goddess in other planes. Considering the other sea in the area is the Wildfire Sea, made of the elemental chaos, it is not hard to see why communities gravitated towards the area surrounding the Mother Sea. The area near the Scree falls within King Can's domain, but he does not attempt to enforce his authority further out.
