Contract Offer: Retrieval of I.I.S.S. Havoc

Contract Details:

Scope of Work: The Imperial Interstellar Scout Service (IISS) hereby offers a contract to a group of skilled individuals, hereafter referred to as the Travellers, for the retrieval of the scout vessel I.I.S.S. Havoc, currently believed to be located in the Walston system.

Compensation:

1. Upfront Payment: Each Traveller will receive Cr1000 as a lump sum for incidental expenses upon acceptance of this contract.
2. Travel Expenses: High passage will be provided to Walston for each Traveller.
3. Mission Completion: Upon successful retrieval and return of the I.I.S.S. Havoc to Flammarion, each Traveller will receive an additional Cr1000 for expenses during the week-long assessment and software update period.
4. Lease Option: The Travellers will be granted a one-year lease of the I.I.S.S. Havoc on standard Scout Service Detached Duty terms after the vessel's assessment period. During this time, the Travellers will meet their own life support and fuel costs and maintain the ship in good order.
5. Log Monitoring: The vessel's logs will be examined at Scout Service installations, providing valuable information on starports and ship movements in the area.
6. Option to Purchase: At the end of the lease period, the Travellers will have the option to purchase the I.I.S.S. Havoc from the Scouts with a standard 40-year payment plan.

Terms and Conditions:

1. The Travellers are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and adhere to all Imperial laws and regulations during the course of this contract.
2. Any damages incurred to the I.I.S.S. Havoc during the lease period will be the responsibility of the Travellers, subject to reimbursement or repair costs as deemed appropriate by the IISS.
3. The IISS reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time due to breach of contract, misconduct, or unforeseen circumstances.

Acceptance of Contract:

By signing below, the Travellers acknowledge their acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in this contract and agree to undertake the retrieval mission of the I.I.S.S. Havoc on behalf of the Imperial Interstellar Scout Service.[be]
