Language of Magic
Despite the vast variety of cultures, creatures, and civilizations, there is a single thread that ties most of them together. The Language of Magic is something that has been passed down by all magic-casting races of the many dimensions.
The language gives the ability to manipulate magical energy and allow it to be used to cast spells. The words of the language carry power that, when spoken, cause energy to do certain things, allowing for simple or complex magic.
Despite all this, however, most people must be properly trained before being able to use this language, otherwise they will be unable to wield the energy used.

Forms
When these words are spoken with intent, the magical energy is transformed into them.Descriptors
These words are used to describe the way in which the energy is manipulated. The size, flow, shape, and so forth. For example, if you wished to create a massive, continuous stream of fire, you would say the words "Byar strets hoirl". In most every case, descriptors are put before the forms within an incantation.Strets
Strets represents "stream". It's used to make a spell go continually until the caster wills it to stop, or until they go unconscious.
Byar
Byar represents "large". Using it amplifies a basic spell to be as large as the caster wishes it to be. However, this consumes far more energy, depending on however large the spell is made.
Jaied
Jaied represents "wall" or "shield". Using this word causes the spell to take the shape of a wall. Unlike most descriptors, even alone this word can be used, it will cause magical energy to take the form of an invisible wall, which can act as a shield against another magic.
Experienced mages are able to manipulate the shape of this wall with their intent.
Special
These words are unique from the rest, as they don't share the same functions as the others.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
