Eyes of Earth

This myth gives valuable insight into the appearance of the Celestial of nature.
There is a myth about the Celestial of nature, specifically about her eyes.   You see, while Celestials and Eternals may be special and hold enormous amounts of magic, they are no different physically from others of their species. And while it is true that other species can become Eternals and Celestials, most are human.   So what makes Fadilah different? Is she not human? No, she is a first generation. All first generation Celestials are human. Then does she have some special characteristic that makes her different from other Celestials, especially human Celestials? Yes.   Fadilah has eyes without pupils.   At first glance, one wold not notice. At first glance, all one would see is her dark skin and long hair, her floor-sweeping gowns and colorful flower crowns. At first glance, one cannot even see the color of her eyes, much less the lack of pupils.   It is only upon close inspection that one can find the difference. It is only when she is directly in front of you, gazing into your eyes with an arched brow and a curious smile, that you realize what color her eyes are. Brown, you may think at first. Or, hazel. You would be partially correct. Brown, green, black, and gray, swirled together in a clash of darkened colors.   It will likely take you a while before you realize that the black streaks do not move. They run across her eyes like marble lines, but they do not dilate and they do not shrink.   Fadilah's eyes are without pupils. She is the only human Celestial to have such an appearance.   But do not fear, her eyes do not mean she is evil. Fadilah has never taken a stand against the innocent. Her eyes are beautiful, gentle, kind. She is beautiful, gentle, kind.   Her eyes are the eyes of a planet one may know of, the one we all came from once. Fadilah's eyes are eyes of Earth.
