Water Secrets

A speculative legend about the Celestial of water and her secrets. The only physical copies of it are soaked in malicious magic.

Secrets are often kept hidden in one’s heart and no one keeps secrets half as well as the Celestial of water.
Séverin might be the Celestial of secrets, might be the one assigned the task of hiding them, but he has few secrets of his own. Other Celestials tell him their knowledge and he prevents it from becoming common. He has the middle ground in arguments and knows both sides of the story. Naida keeps only her own.
Before Séverin existed, Naida was the Celestial to whom many told their secrets. People would write their deepest fears and desires, their darkest sins, and their greatest triumphs on pieces of paper and toss them in the ocean. The water would swallow the papers whole and the words inscribed would disappear, absorbed into the sea.
If Naida knew people did this, she never revealed it. Many believe she would simply take the information and let it go. Secrets lie heavy on your shoulders, after all, and she already had her own.
Perhaps it was she who suggested making a Celestial of secrets. Perhaps she was tired of being given others' secrets to hold alongside her own. Perhaps even the depths of her heart had become filled with the weight of knowledge she did not want.
What secrets has she carried? No one knows. That is the measure of her discretion. Not a single person aside from herself knows the secrets she kept. No one knows the secrets she still keeps.
Many have speculated on her personal life and what she may have thought important enough to hide. A planet, a lover, a city, a building, a child, an artifact? Dozens of Celestials have kept things secret, but only Naida has never revealed what she conceals.
Powers? Naida is an Elemental. She is one of the most powerful Celestials to exist. What powers might she hide that are not already considered and suspected?
