Victor Frankensteel

The freelance necromancer and puppeteer with a soft spot for thunder and thunderous applause. He is a supporter of using magic in addition to modern scientific discoveries and methods and does not believe that science and magic should be two separate fields of work. He is a fan of theatre and dead stuff.

His bosses do not really care about the actual things Victor does, they like that he always gets results and brings more money to the table than their other employs. So they keep their both eyes shut to the actual technicalities, so when the worst comes, they can pretend they did not know about anything.
But Victor, of course, knows how to covers his tracks and also, knows his bosses really well.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Each and every new corpse that ends up on his table without anyone noticing or raising a fuss over it is like a little party for him. Overall, Victor thinks that necromancers fail because they let their feelings get in the way. He raises people (literally) for “the greater good," not for himself or for some sentimental reasons. At least this is how he sees the situation anyways.

Motivation

He has a vision for society and hates wasted potential. He values productivity more than anything, but doesn't mind waiting. He will always find something to occupy his mind with no matter the circumstance and will use it to further his goals. And those are no less than saving the world. In his own, very weird and very twisted way. Humanity could achieve so much... if it just... tried. Right?

Savvies & Ineptitudes

He is a psychopath so he does not understand and read emotions really well. He is good at softly manipulating people and making them feel safe, but overal, his social skills are not much to speak of. He is not great at improvising. Everyone around him things he is a bit odd (if they knew!) and overall shy.

Besides theatre, he likes the sound of rain and soft piano music, it helps him keep focused the most.
On one hand he is extremely fascinated with human corpses but does not care for the other sapient species in the leas and hates dead animals. Or animals in general. He thinks them dirty and underdeveloped.

He is a capable doctor and can save a life if he wants to. During the war, he had saved countless of soldiers with timely and precise organ transplants- Mostly though he thinks he can think of better uses for that particular body of his patient than his patient is currently using it for.

He likes to hum to himself while he works. It is both calming and quite unnerving at the same time.

Listen, if you work with fluids and body parts all the time and like it? You will keep yourself extremely clean. Especially if what you are doing is not exactly legal. That's just common sense.

His family has always been pretty well of, but because of a lacking noble title, they have never been officially accepted among the upper classes of Bohemian Republic. After the war, it all changed. New money as well as new faces were needed to keep the social scene... alive, so to speak.
Victor has never known material hardship, the recent war has been more of a nuisance with regards to the provisions, but at least it gave him a lot of opportunities for his private experiments with all of the... biological material that was lying around pretty much everywhere. Who would mind another doctor at the front? And who would mind someone cleaning up the corpses? No one noticed. Really.
Unlike his parents, Victor doesn't really mind not belonging to the nobility class. He sees aristocrats as a bunch of headless chickens just running around demanding their rights and not realising that their time is over. He doesn't want their kind of power, he doesn't want to be the new king or the new duke or anything like that. The empire has fallen, the war has been lost, no one really likes the monarch anymore. People need a leader. People need to be told what to do. People like routine and certainty. He will give them all that and more. He will give them purpose. Aristocracy only knew how to enslave, he will illuminate.
