Neridia Dhalmane began her career as a Lolthite priestess. When she learned she was infertile after a debilitating illness in her adolescence, she decided to focus her studies into becoming a midwife, and eventually became a senior midwife teaching and supervising her own students. After a tragedy where she lost one of her students to a particularly vengeful family, Neridia decided to leave the only home she had known at that point and go to the surface. She arrived in Redemsia City and was given the position as healer and teacher at their Medical Research Center. Here, she served for a century before retiring to explore Maflon. She met Tikalin Duskstar and his family on her journey, and when hearing about how they were planning on establishing a ranger outpost she knew she had found another calling for herself as the outpost's medic. Neridia was able to use her midwifery knowledge one more time when Tikalin and Siryl's first child, Gwendolyn, was born.
