Personal history
Lurana first came to the attention of bards and the people of Caresnas when she led a small team in freeing the village of Eastditch from the tyranny of a sorceror. Lurana's band of warriors hadn't even been named when they stumbled across the situation in Eastditch, and after deteating the sorceror Lurana donated most of her share of the reward to the village temple, earning her praise for both her bravery and generosity.
With the bards clamouring for a name for her team, Lurana decided to name them the 6 Flowers as most of the group were named for flowers and plants. She had always preferred her middle name, and the only other member of the group who didn't have an appropriate name was persuaded to go by Nettle rather Oswick.
When the village of Bankside couldn't afford help to deal with the threat of a marauding band of orcs, Hyacinth led the 6 Flowers to help defend the village, paying the rest of the group out of her own funds. When the Earl of Shaon heard of this he sent Hyacinth a reward and offered to name her a Warden of Shaon. Hyacinth turned down the honour and once again donated most of her reward to a nearby temple.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Though she will not admit it to even her closest friends and allies, Hyacinth is driven by a need to make amends for her actions when she was a member of The Awakened. Though she is fairly sure she didn't kill anyone she was responsible for burning several village temples, including one in Bankside. At the time she had been angry over her parents' deaths which she blamed on the deities and their clerics, but after her own life was saved by a passing cleric she had a change of heart. While she still cannot bring herself to pray to any deity, she now feels that her earlier actions were wrong and she needs to atone for her own peace of mind.
