The City of Cities, Fjorn

Fjorn, the City of Cities, lies in the hemisphere of Realm of Light. As its name suggest Fjorn grew from many cities but as they grew the borders between them blurred to the point of being obscured. Now little more than neighborhoods, if particlarly big ones, of Fjorn, the many districts of Fjorn form a patchwork quilt that makes up the city. Reaching one hundred kilometers across at its longest length, Fjorn easily holds the title of largest city of the realms.

Government

The Government of Fjorn is ran by a council of five gods. Each a bastion of Light themselves they decide upon the most important maters, and those that lower councils and collections can not. Above them sits the God of Fjorn, a being formed from the very belief of and in the city itself. Though not more powerful than the other gods, Fjorna rules when a consensus of the Five can not be made. Beyond that every district has a mayorship and many levels of local government.

Defences

The city is surrounded by the God's wall. Made by the god, Carn, the wall expands with the city moving as if intelligent when ever the city must expand and finding ways to move around settlements absorbed into the ever growing city. There is the Guard of the city, a standing army that protects the grand city from invaders.

Industry & Trade

If it can be made, it is made in Fjorn. If it can be sold, it is sold in Fjorn. If it can exist, it is said to exist in Fjorn.

Guilds and Factions

There are so many factions in the Grand City that to list them would take a lifetime. However as with all things there are many important ones. To most of the city the most important is the Grower's Guild. Having been willed by the Five themselves, the farmers and other workers that bring Fjorn its food work under a single massive orginization. The guild has nearly as much sway as one of the Five in the city for without them all would starve. It is by their skill that no one in Fjorn goes hungry.
