Bloodthorn Vine
A carnivorous plant with deep crimson vines adorned with sharp thorns. This plant's vines weave through cracks in bark or small surface wounds of trees, sealing them with a secreted toxic, and acidic, sap that can paralyze its prey when the thorns nick the flesh and expose the wound to the sap clinging to them; its small, blood-red flowers attract unsuspecting insects to be dissolved and consumed.
