A young Huerdan Rockgut would oft venture to the highest peaks of the Spine of Salazar and he saw the carnage being wrought across the land and sky. It is here a stray bolt of stormless lightning would strike Huerdan; knocking him down the mountain and leaving him unconscious for several days.   He would wake from his near death experience, bloodied, scarred, burned, and slightly manic, claiming that Marthammor Duin Duin ordered him to lead the clan away from their mountain home for great ruin and absolute destruction were all that would greet the Iron Head Clan.   His kinfolk ignored but tolerated his antics, blaming his deranged and manic state on his fall. But after a few years of begrudged tolerance, he was eventually branded a heretic and banished from the Iron Head Clan. Those he'd manage to convince or terrify enough into leaving were branded as apostates as well.   A year after his banishment, the final cataclysmic event of The Sundering wiped entire sections of the Spine of Salazar off the map and, with it, the Iron Head Clan from the annals of history.
