Scythe of Nerull

Continent: Tapa

Weapon (Scythe), artifact (requires attunement)   This was once the Scythe of Nerull the god of death, but when he died the scythe was lost for a long time until it was recovered by Halaster Blackcloak. But after a few years the Scythe was stolen by an archmage who tried to conquer Halaster. But after a few years Halaster got this archmage and imprisont him by the imprisonment spell. But until now the Scythe wasn’t recovered by anyone.   The Personality of the Scythe The scythe is very old and intelligent. It’s Charisma Score is 20 and it’s Wisdom and Intelligence Scores are both 17. It has blindsight out to 200 feet and is blind beyond this radius. If the wielded wants to destroy it, it will force the wielded to make a Charisma saving throw with a DC of 20. On a success the wielder takes 3d6 necrotic damage. On a failure the scythe possesses the body of the wielder. After that happened the wielder can make this saving throw every dawn. On a success the possession will end and on a failure nothing will happen.   Deathbringer Once per day you can call onto the powers of death. You can cast power word kill once per day. After you have used this property you have to make a constitution saving throw with DC 20. If you fail the saving throw you fall unconscious through the powers of death until the start of your next turn.   The Price of the Might of Gods When one month has passed after your attunement to the Scythe you can use this property. Once per every week you can cast wish. After you have cast wish you lose twenty hit points.   Death’s Incarnation This weapon has a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it because it was infused by the powers of Nerull.   Nerull's Harvest The sythe has the properties of a vorpal sword and scores a critical on 18-20. Also the sythe does 2d20 slashing damage plus 2d6 necrotic damage.   Legion of death As an action, once per day, the weilder can summon up to five skeletons or two giant skeletons under the weilders control, but you lose 20 hit points afterwards, the skeletons will not go away until they drop to zero hit points or are dissmissed, alowing you to create your own army after a while. The giant skeletons have the statistics of a cloud giant, and the normal skeletons have the same hit points as the weilder. Additionally, as an action you may bring back dissmissed skeletons for free, no hit points lost.   Destroying the Scythe of Nerull The scythe can be only destroyed by a willing NPC with a challenge rating of 25 or higher. The NPC has to be attuned to the scythe. Then it has to kill itself with the scythe. After that the scythe will be destroyed and the one who destroyed it is killed instantly and can’t be brought back by any means.
