I've always found a lot of classic tolkien fantasy tropes to be tired by this point, and overused by fantasy ttrpgs. THis started as a group of friends playing D&D and progressively adding more and more homebrew, until it reached critical mass. This world is the product of that homebrew. Enjoy.
