Abstract Powers

One of the three main types of powers in Tsilanda, along with Demon Powers and Origin Powers.
Abstract Powers work in mysterious ways. Abstract Powers by definition are any sort of power that does not explicitly fall under an Origin or Demon Power gets labelled as an Abstract Power. They cannot be properly categorized under the other two types of powers, however some powers can be used in conjunction to one another in order to have a variation of a particular power that is unique to the individual.
Using an Abstract Power involves having an internal source of energy, meaning that a Great Human and a Demon can have this power, but not a pure blooded Ishallan Human.

Notable Users

• SM is an Origin Power user who combines his Fire-based abilities along with the Abstract Power of temperature manipulation.
• Yeva Pashal is capable of creating U-rank Barriers in combination with her special Abstract Power.
• Nika Terrin is one of the most powerful Healers while using her Demon Powers at the same time to create an unrivaled combination of buffing and resurrecting.

Side/Secondary Effects

Any side effects from using an Abstract Power are generally unique to the individual. Fatigue is a common effect of using energy too much- but many Abstract Powers are a bit more specific than that.

Anyone with energy and potential can use this power, however the degree at which they may be used depends on the individual and their training.

Discovery

The first Abstract Power in a Great Human was discovered in 1595 SE, with the birth of a child having an ability like no other.
Demons have been known to use strange abilities that could not be categorized as either Origin or Demon Powers for millennia.

Pure blooded Ishallan Humans today are completely unable to have powers. Great Humans and Demons are capable of having these powers. Abstract Powers cannot be passed down through blood relations. They seem to appear randomly in lineages. They may be gifted to a Great Human from a Demon, but it more of a "borrowing" relationship in these situations.
Restrictions are based on the individual and their specific power.
