Seeing as the Wall was nearly complete, a few thousand strays risked their lives trying to make it back into the city before they were locked out forever.

While living outside Ishalla, a few members who still lived close to the city noticed that the Wall was nearing completion, possibly being finished within the next few months or years. A panic spread, stating that once the Wall was built, nobody would ever be allowed through city borders ever again. Roughly two thousand humans and demons attempted to sneak back past the Wall, but they ended up getting slaughtered by a new militia being created by the current ruler, Sara Ishalla. Most of the attempts failed, with those failures ending up dead outside the Wall. Those were made it in were located and escorted out of the city, then killed if they did not manage to make an escape.   Tension only rose.
