Aesthetic Oni Aiō Mototsuna (a.k.a. 相合 元綱)

Summary

A member of the main Mōri family and brother to the clan's Daimyō. Aiō Mototsuna technically holds a position as a general in the Mōri armies, but he much prefers to spend his time engaging in artistic pursuits. Painting, calligraphy, and origami are his most favored subjects, and he dreams of one day producing a piece in one of these fields great enough to present to the great Daitengu Zenkibō.
Despite his interests not fully aligning with the clan's, Mototsuna is loyal to his family and uses what small amounts of mysticism and diplomacy he knows to further their goals when he can. His sister and family leader Motonari has been known to send some of his works as diplomatic gifts to favored subjects or other Daimyō; a practice that brings Mototsuna no small amount of pride.
Soft-spoken and gentle by nature, one would not think him an oni if not for the small nubs of horns visible on his head. Indeed, it's rumored that there's a small bit of human heritage in the Mōri family, and that Mototsuna himself might be a throwback to this mortal blood. Not as strong as the rest of his family, he is more graceful and dexterous, skills which are remarkably uncommon among the other oni and thus have their own unique value when possessed by one of his race.
