Summary
Knight Commander Maxim's sheele, formed from a small part of his soul. Evaine stands taller than most of her kind, and could be mistaken for a short human woman. She wears the kind of clothing a knight might while not in armor, and conducts herself with proper court etiquette at all times. This noble exterior partially masks her true nature, for Evaine is a sheele of Darkness. She shows no remorse at doing whatever must be done to serve her master. Evaine's sword, the Fourth Name, is a long, thin weapon normally holstered at her side. Drawing this instrument requires a substantial infusion of magic. When it is loosed, however, Evaine becomes a supernaturally powerful duelist in her own right.
