Halloween 2020

A Candy Caper

As the sun sets and shadows take flight, boys and ghouls from all over Japan sneak out of their homes by candlelight. The mysteries of the night sing out to all who seek candied delight, and horrible creatures lurk around every corner, ready to give them such a fright.   Or... not. Even in Tsuwamono Japan, Halloween isn't a recognized holiday. All Hallow's Eve is practiced in lands far from its shores though, and in some places where cultures run together, places like Shimonoseki's international port, perhaps its influence can still be felt...   For the next two weeks (10/23/20–10/30/20), a friendly bear will deposit a thousand pieces of candy into each Tsuwamono player's pocket. These colorful wrapped treats can be bet just like Kuma Coins, alongside your usual tournament bets or in place of them, for the same odds. At the end of the night on the 30th, just when Halloween is upon us, players will receive a reward based on how much candy they managed to accrue.
Candy Reward
500+ Special Halloween Character Title
1,000+ One +15 item of player's choice for a general of their choice
2,000+ 2,000 Kuma Coins
5,000+ Promote any A-rank or below general of the player's choice
10,000+ 1 player-stamped Gold Kuma Coin
But if you thought that's all, if you thought you could just gather up ten thousand treats and call it a day, you're in for a fright! The player who gathers the most candy by the end of the session on October 30th will recruit a special S-rank ハロウィン character!   The intro quest for this character will happen on the session after the event ends, and maybe something more...   Get your jack-o-lantern buckets ready, watch out for spooks, and have a great Halloween!
