King Colobert Hludowig

Summary

Lord Regal of an enchanted bog somewhere in Tir Na Nòg. King Colobert Hludowig is noted for his noble heart, his steady blade, and his absolute adherence to The Amphibious Edicts. According to the king, these laws are the sole key to achieving peace not only in Tir Na Nòg, but in Earth and all adjoining planes as well. Despite his faith, Colobert steadfastly refuses to explain what the Edicts actually are. Apparently not revealing the Edicts is itself one of the Amphibious Edicts. This attitude has left most of those who speak to the king puzzled. Are these precepts part of a greater philosophy? A prophecy? Or the law of the land? Colobert will not say.
For all his obfuscation, the good Lord Regal does have a leader's heart. His body may be small and green, but his heart is forged from steel and etched with gold. Colobert's natural charisma has carried him far and serves him well now, even so distant from his subjects. Indeed, it is this inborn nobility which first brought him to the attention of the judges for the Hashinara Clan's All-Out Frog-Out. At their pleading, Colobert did deign to accept and participate. Being crowned the froggiest of all could only aid in his quest to bring The Amphibious Edicts to every corner of the land.
