Summary
Commander of Mōri Motonari's forces in the lower Chūgoku region, and a powerful fighter in his own right. Huge even by Oni standards, Kumagai Nobunao is possessed of a higher intelligence than most other brutes of his size. Not to say he is particularly bright, by human standards, but underneath that over-muscled exterior is a cunning mind with a knack for leadership. It's by Nobunao's hand that many of Motonari's enemies have perished. Though the Daimyō of the Mōri does not like to solve her problems by force, when she does so, Kumagai and his squads of Kuma Guys are the instrument by which she strikes powerfully and decisively. Nobunao, for his part, is fiercely loyal. Some think that he simply loves battle and the camaraderie provided by military life. Others, however, insist that some hidden debt lurks in the past between Nobunao and the rulers of the Mōri Clan.
