Summary
A sheele formed from the imbued soul of Hashinara Kurayume, a newly sapient Black Galleon. As the vessel does not possess much agency of its own, Kurayume normally acts as her hands and voice in the physical world. It is difficult to tell, therefore, how much personality Kurayume has on her own, and how much is supplied by Hashinara Kurayume acting through her. Like her master, Kurayume was injected with a cocktail of memories from the ship's previous crew. Alongside Men of Leng and a diverse population of slaves, it also seems that a Moonbeast was thrown into the mix. As a result, Kurayume is highly intelligent but also cold and alien. She often refers to the crew as her "brood" and seems to still worship an entity she calls "The Faceless God." These leftover exoticisms would be more worrying had Kurayume's creator not also instilled her with an innate, dedicated loyalty to the Hashinara Clan.
