Ryūzōji Kagetada

Neko-Kensei Ryūzōji Kagetada (a.k.a. 龍造寺 文五郎)
Summary:
A stray Bakeneko who came into the service of the Ryūzōji Clan. Kagetada has not spoken much on her own past, but has stated that she chose her own name based on the style of her master back when she was a normal house cat. This unnamed Kensei was apparently a master of Hikita Kage-ryū, and Kagetada picked up enough of his craft from their constant companionship that she is a formidable swordsman in her own right. How she came to be separated from her master, as well as the means by which she became a Yōkai in the first place despite not being a hundred years of age, are unknown. Due to the peculiarities of Bakeneko, however, the truth is likely not pleasant. When pressed on the matter, Kagetada has expressed only that she must exact revenge on an individual known as Kamiizumi Hidetsuna. In person, Kagetada is demure and feminine. Her presence brings to mind a long-haired, elegant cat, perhaps owned by a noble family and treated to only the most luxurious of meals. Despite this demeanor, however, her stance has the telltale signs of an experienced warrior, and she is rarely seen without her armor or weapons. She is not the kind of person to afford herself much free time, but she does put great effort into always looking proper, and is devoting some time to writing a manual on her master's style so that it is not entirely lost with his passing.
