An Archdemon of Envy with thirty legions of faceless horsemen at her command. Shax is dangerously able to curse almost any creature with deafness, blindness, and a lessening of faculties regardless of their own mystical protections. She is often summoned by invokers who wish not only to steal from another, but to enact revenge upon the holder of the goods at the same time. Her aspect is that of a stork, but she surrounds herself with shadows in the form of crows, which serve as her familiars and messengers. Notably among the least beautiful of human-guised archdemons, Shax is scrawny and underdeveloped with a hoarse voice. Her body is weak, and she would be helpless in a melee with even the meanest of human warriors. The great Leviathan has seen fit to gift her with only a minor grafted blessing, leaving her with four arms rather than the six common to Envy Demons. It is therefore that she has turned a great amount of her terrible magical power toward ensuring that she is never discovered unless she wishes it.Unique Ability
Clouded Sea: Any creature affected by the spells Blindness, Deafness, Inability to Speak, or Uselessness cast by Shax receive an additional effect for each such affliction they suffer. Upon suffering any of these spells, the creature's intelligence characteristic drops by 2. This effect is cumulative with each additional spell applied to the same creature, up to a maximum reduction of 8 Intelligence. If this would reduce the target to 0, they become unable to take any actions, active or passive, for the duration. This affliction lasts for as long as the spells are maintained on the target.Divine Domains
