Pearly Clay

This clay not only becomes white when dry or backed, like other white clay does but it develops a pearly shimmer if polished. Besides that the "pearly clay" enhances the shelf live of all that is placed within a container made of it by a significant time. It is, for example, known that olive oil stored in an amphora of this clay will stay as if freshly pressed for up to 12 month and usable for years. Various medicines, tinctures and herbs also have shown to easily double their shelf life and retain their potency for extended periods of time.
