Pennant

The Pennant, which is the first Hojan army unit to have its own dedicated command personnel, is made up of six Tables.

Larger towns often have multiple Pennants as a garrison force and even medium-sized or smaller towns often have one.

A Pennant's commanding officer is called the Starm (another rank and title that has lost its original form, Strong Arm, from the need to hold up the pennant during battle), who normally has two Left-Hands assigned to him. The two Left-Hands or often just Hands, are below the Starm but above the Tableds in the hierarchy and support the Starm in commanding the Pennant.

The Pennant, as it consists of six Tables, has 72 soldiers two Left-Hands and the Starm, so a total of 75 soldiers.
