The nature of Gods

Various teachings and beliefes:

"One lesson you must learn young one, the gods can not be cheated. They are not all-knowing but when they need the knowledge they will acquire it and you can not avoid that. A god might not care if you lie to his face but he will know, as soon as he wants to know. The gods may learn your secrets through his agents, or by just wanting it, it does not matter he will know."
