Voltalar
"Expressions of Turian's will" 15th reworked edition by the University of SuleriĀ
Excerpt from Healer Murial's diary:
"The Elb brought in a Voltalar today. That is the word he used. The patient displayed several deep cuts, on the breast and back of its torso obviously wounds from a sabre or other sharp, cutting blade. What gave me the biggest concern however was the two arrows that still stuck, one penetrated the lower the other had penetrated the upper torso. For a regular human, I would have said that the upper one had penetrated the lung 10 fingers below the clavicular bone while the lower one had penetrated the bowl...
When I treated the cuts I could easily see that the creature did not have a regular ribcage, those cuts had been very deep and done forcefully. Human rips would have broken but the Voltalar had no rips on his back but overlapping plates of bone.
I shall advise the congregation to try and get a specimen for a full study."
