Birdhouse Library
Within the University there is a street that many of the artworks created by uni students are showcased. As such, it is called Art Street. Every semester there is a new set of artworks and creations showcased on the street - part of the highlight of the street is that it changes so frequently. Even students who have gifted or sold their works to the uni have their creations moved to other places around the uni by the next semester. Same as any who have paid to keep it there.
Except the Birdhouse Library. It was an arwork of a library built into a birdhouse, based on some designs found from cycles and cycles ago (like, from even before the Warbeasts existed!) It was a decent piece, though it's attraction was more to do with the tiny books that could be borrowed from there - like a street library, but for tiny books. As the Birdhouse Library stayed in Art Street, it become common for people to make little books of their art pieces and/or stories and place them in the Birdhouse Library. Both those who didn't make it in time to finalise their pieces and those who had their pieces shown on the street.
The reason why the Birdhouse Library stayed when all other pieces have moved from Art Street is that a family of magi-bugs moved into the Birdhouse and no one had the heart to shoo them away... Well, actually there were massive protests from the students and many camped out all day and night in preoragnised shifts so that even The Bin Man couldn't relocate the magibugs.
The magi-bugs were a very bird-like existance (knowing what we know about birds from seeing into other Realms and some really damaged and faded records from the first few cycles of Turien). Their wings are feathery and they collect shiny things. It's often seen as flattery if the Birdhouse Library magibugs take something from your art in Art Street. For most, some people still find it annoying.
It's been a few generations of the magi-bugs and the only thing that's really changed is that the Birdhouse Library has been expanded. There are new sections for the mini books, and for the magibugs.
