Observation Log of KLO Mimi Lakes: Mobile Phones

Praymonth the 3rd, Year 54 of the Century of the Nymphs, 26th Cycle

So, while Reagan was looking at the artifact he had finally found after (Mimi: how many years was he looking for it? KLO-MeiMei: He's been missing for about 35 years. Mimi: ... That's a long time. No wonder Hoen was getting mad.) about 35 years, I have been sending videos of him and his work to Hoen. We were both given the latest phones from Eclern, made from Hiven Tech technologies and they include the digital pen. This has allowed Hoen to continue write all over Reagan's research, even though it's in digital format and not on paper. I also found a sticky note application that can be placed on videos so we can write on those too. 

We had to have the latest phones, cause Magenta had added some of her magical senses into them. I'm not really sure how it works, but her father works in Eclern in East City so she sometimes makes him magical technology. And it gets passed back to Hiven Tech and Sarah gets to look at it. I know this, cause Sarah finally messaged me back after I said as playing with Magenta. She had heard her name from Eclern before, but only in passing. Apparently Eclern are trying to take all her achievements themselves, but Magenta doesn't really care as long as they look after her father. Sarah said she will let me attend the next three Spice tastings for free, if I bring Magenta to a magical technology meeting where Magenta makes some Fairy tech. Magenta said okay, as long as Hiven pay for all the materials she wants to play with.

KLO-MeiMei: What does this have to do with the latest phone you and Hoen have?
Mimi: Oh, yeah

So last time Magenta was at her parent's place in East City, she increased the signal power of her father's phone, so that he could better text her while she travels across Turien. There are lots of Signal Towers in the Human cities, but less in the Great Forest and less populated areas, so Magenta wanted to boost the signal. This means that the signal is now able to reach Hoen. Also, most of the Signal Towers are currently being upgraded with the boost as well. It is only possible with Fairy magic - but that makes sense cause there would be no Signal Towers or phones at all if there was no Fairy magic in the first place.
