Turindor

Created by

Following the Cataclysm, called the Third Sundering by some, the twin worlds of Abeir and Toril were once again split, this time splitting themselves. Each world gained a "reflection" of itself - Abeir's reflection was called Altoreth, and Toril's was Turindor. While the "prime" version of Toril was devastated by the Cataclysm, Turindor flourished. Now, centuries after the Cataclysm, Turindor is home to diverse peoples and cultures, magic and technology, myth and legend.   Turindor is ever evolving and changing as the Great Fable is being written. The following anthropological record, encompassing only a portion of the known world and its discovered nations, is intended to be a research supplement only, and is no substitute for visiting the described nations or reviewing official records.   You should note that the names, phrases and colloquialisms herein adapt themselves to match the dialect of the reader. While this work is not affiliated with any official or royally sanctioned record of Turindor, things associated with the Great Fable (histories, maps, charts) are often enchanted to make themselves more understandable to whoever is reviewing them. So while it may seem odd at first, for example, that a nation founded by ancient dragonborn maintains a similar nomenclature to that of a modern nation founded by humans, understand that in their native tongues this may not be the case.
