Vampire
Vampires used to be Humans who died and then came back to life but evolved to the point where being born a vampire is possible. They do need blood to survive and are more sensitive to certain things compared to other species.
The medieval ones were sensitive to sunlight, garlic. Mirrors were used to detect vampires, they would have no reflection however modern mirrors show the reflection of vampires because they aren't made with silver but with aluminum. It turns out vampires weren't allergic to garlic, they said that before if people thought garlic would keep vampires away then they would eat it, but! Garlic is a natural anticoagulant so it is only blood easier to drink.
vampires enjoy stalking and toying with their victims before biting and drinking their blood. Vampires are excellent predators as they can hunt their victims while remaining unseen. Vampires can also suppress their bloodlust by meditation.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Half vampires had retractable teeth on the upper canine teeth while pureblood had sharp teeth on both top and bottom canine teeth. The appearance is mostly human-like. A majority of vampires have pointy ears and pale skin.
Biological Traits
their eyes turn blood red (if not already) when drinking blood, in the presence of blood, or during a blood lust episode. The canine teeth are sharper and retractable. Vampire blood is darker sangria red than other people's, their hearts are slower and have grayish tints. Vampires can breath underwater as they don't need oxygen to survive, but it is a preference.
Genetics and Reproduction
like regular people they can be both fertile or infertile, they can eat anything but must drink blood to heal and avoid damage. Vampires can also turn Humans into vampires by spreading their blood into their bloodstream.
Ecology and Habitats
Despite not immediately burning in sunlight, vampires still have very sensitive skin and can easily get sunburn. They prefer dark cloudy, cool weather.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Human blood is preferred as it is more nutritious, but animal blood can also be drunk. Blood may not be needed to stay "alive", but going without it can cause a vampire to become extremely weak and rabid, though some types of vampires will instead become stronger and more vampiric. However, they will still become rabid after too long without blood. Some vampires substitute blood and plasma for coconut water as it is very similar to plasma.

History
vampires are undead creatures that often visited loved ones and caused mischief or deaths in the neighborhoods they inhabited while they were alive. They date back to the 19th century.
Vampires were actually normal medieval people with porphyria, After they died they didn't exactly die it's more like their heart stopped for a moment then they grew fangs. When they woke up blood would seep through their mouth and nose.
These people were evil or victims of suicide and publicity execution. Some people believed evil spirits possessed corpses.
Cultural practices often arose that were intended to prevent a recently deceased loved one from turning into an undead revenant. Burying a corpse upside-down was widespread, as was placing earthly objects, such as scythes or sickles, near the grave to satisfy any demons entering the body or to appease the dead so that it would not wish to arise from its coffin.
