Twilight City

The world has changed. Twenty years ago, the Darkspawn came, destroying everything in their wake. Mankind would have been overcome had it not been for the First Dream, the opposing force to the Darkspawn.   February 13, 2020. The night when the First Dream descended to those worthy of harnessing it's power. Young girls from the ages of 13 to 15 awoke up the next morning with magnificent, and magical, powers. With their help, mankind was able to at least defend what are the current-age City-nations of the world. Communication between these cities are sparse, and every so often there are reports of another city falling to the Darkspawn.   What are the Darkspawn? Where did they come from? Why, upon their 16 birthday, does the Dream leave these young women, only to be inherited by another somewhere else in the world? How will these Magical Girls help shape mankind's future?
