Patience
Dead.
But not just dead.
Gone.
Like footprints in the snow.
Erased.
Like a candle being snuffed.
Profaned.
Branded God of Murder.
But she knew better.
Odos had been taken from her, killed before her very eyes by the one who gave them life. Not a thought given to the centuries of service, not a moment hesitated to give a second chance. It was not enough for Maranam to take her husband from her, no, he had to tarnish Odos’ legacy as well. God of Murder? The one who gave the title was the one who deserved it most. But she was no fool. Her lips sung praises of Maranam even as traitorous thoughts swirled in her mind.
And she waited.
Soon.
But she knew better.

Years. The world changed. Centuries. She changed. Millennia. She never forgot. And her patience served her well, for a chance meeting with a madman gave her the path she had been seeking. Taruvata by name, spurned by Maranam - oh, how he builds his own demise - he shared with her forbidden secrets. It was possible. She could bring Odos back.
But not yet. It was not time. Maranam was still on guard and she needed wait still. But soon. An end to this torturous waiting. An end to the End of Ends.
For she was Ohenna, Goddess of Disease, and she would let the world fester and sicken and rot if it would bring her Odos back.
Soon.

This has a poetic, flow-of-consciousness feel to it. I like that, but would like to see some more meat and context on it. I feel like you've given me a hunger for a story, then taken that story out from underneath me before I can sink my teeth into it. I dig it, and I like the emblem of the bleeding heart!
