Kiffar

The Kiffar are a near-human species from the planets Kiffu and Kiffex. Although they seem human in appearance, Kiffar are distinguished by their scarlet blood and facial tattoos, which indicate their clan affiliation on their species' homeworlds. A small number of the species possess the gift of psychometry, the ability to read the memories of inanimate objects through touch.
