Armii'uu Expanse

Below the lands of Tedros and Gobria, there is a long forgotten expansive underground ocean known as the Armii'uu Expanse.
The mythical Seesoun once inhabited the shores, islands and cave walls surrounding this massive ocean. Although, the existence of this ocean is believed to be nothing more than myth. There is a small group of researchers and historians who have been actively searching for the lost trade route entrance.

Geography

The depth of the Armii'uu ocean is unknown.
The cave that encompasses the expanse has never been fully discovered but some shores of the ocean have large swaths of land that have gentle slopes for hundreds of miles before reaching the walls of the cave.

The ceiling of the cave reaches almost 1 mile in height in some areas, causing powerful updrafts and downdrafts.
Large stalagtites and stalagmites will pierce the surface of the ocean. The largest one ever surveyed, was a column reaching from the ceiling, and as far down in the water as could be followed. It was measured to have a 77 mile radius.

Ecosystem

Steam volcanoes provide heat, moisture and particulate into the air of the expanse, causing clouds to form, and creating dangerous weather patterns accross the ocean.

Ecosystem Cycles

No seasons are present in the Armii'uu expanse as the heat from the volcanoes, and the insulation from the miles of stone surounding the xpanse maintain a steady temperature all year round.

Fauna & Flora

Numerous animals and plants exist within this almost entirely secluded ecosystem.

Natural Resources

Vast deposits of ore, minerals, and rare gems.
An abundance of fish and flying animals provide food, leather, and other materials
