Varlandos City

Demographics

Varlandos City is, like many places, mostly population with humans. After humans, dwarves and dragonborn make up another great chunk of the city's population. Goliaths are also surprisingly common to find. Finally, there exists a very small portion of other races like elves, halflings, and gnomes.

Defences

Varlandos City is surrounded by 20ft tall granite walls. Guards and soldiers will be seen everywhere. Some are patrolling the streets, some the wall tops, and some the perimeter of the city.

Architecture

Norvanian architecture is a mixture of traditional building styles and modern forms of building. Many roofs are still built with a thatched style of roof while the buildings themselves are built with wattle & daub.

Natural Resources

Varlandos City is built next to a massive lake known as Lake Leod. The lake itself is actually the remnants of a collapsed volcano during Tynaria Alt's 50 years of accelerated time. Quarries have been built nearby to extract the granite from underneath.
