Era beginning/end

At the dawn of the year 350, the Grail Initiates would change the fate of the world forever. By imbuing the Holy Grail with dark magical energy, the artifact of peace-keeping was corrupted, in their eyes, for the better.

At the dawn of the year 350, the Grail Initiates gathered in Sordera City, Seredena, waiting for the Grail to appear. Upon the Grail's summoning, the plan went into action. Hundreds of the mages began to seize the Grail and imbue with large pulses of corrupting magic. The magic was given in such large amounts that by the time the process was done, msot of if not all the mages were dead, drained of their life force.   As time went on, certain nations began to notice a calling upon their higher-ups. They were told that the only way they may utilize the Holy Grail's wish-granting power was to fight a few other factions to the death by establishing a team deathmatch. This was what the world would look like for the rest of eternity. The Grail was irreversibly corrupted with no fail-safe or reversal spell available. It had become nigh-omnipotent.
